Nursery Care for all service Lemons to Lemonade Once again it’s a matter of view point and clarity of vision. Unlike his older brothers, Joseph was tuned to Gods nature. He knew he was a good and righteous God, full of mercy and forgiveness, so he correctly perceived God’s intensions concerning his brothers and spoke the words in the verse above. We will never adequately understand enough to become perceptive prepared partners with God’s righteous plans unless we come around to seeing things from his perspective. This means not always jumping to hasty ill-conceived conclusions encouraged by a lifetime of viewing things from a worldly perspective. Instead, we must train ourselves to adhere to the very real perception that God is always in complete control of everything, all the time. Nothing escapes his scrutiny and concern, absolutely nothing, so his perfectly conceived designs and plans will eventually unfurl themselves before us within his flawless timing. Consequently, we need to exercise patience with endurance showing calm restraint while seeking and tuning our perceptions to his creative personalized plans for us, in so doing we will begin the process of melding our behavioral and spiritual characteristics congruently to his own. We can marvel as we begin to see things the way Jesus does. This is truly wisdom in action. How do we get started? Dear God keep us expectant and open minded, but tuned to your true nature so that we can correctly perceive your ongoing plans for our lives and those near us. Amen. Meditatons by Fred Fischer |
